Shades of Green is an album of John’s early compositions, primarily instrumental music, and includes quartets, trios, duets, and piano solos. The album features special guests John Friesen on cello and Roger Cole on oboe. Two of the works include voice, including the title track of the album, sung by Amy Friesen. The album has had airplay internationally, including with the CBC. It is produced by Edward Norman Music Resources, with mastering by Craig Waddell.
